Conservation

Bushlife Safaris stands as an integral part of the Mana Pools National Park community, fueled by an unwavering passion for wildlife conservation in Zimbabwe. The commitment to preservation extends beyond Nick and Desirée, the dedicated owners, who view conservation as a legacy for their children and future generations.

Supporting their conservation endeavours is Bushlife Conservancy, our funding partner, operating as a registered 501(c)(3) charity in the United States. The small yet impactful team at Bushlife Conservancy tirelessly raises funds for conservation efforts primarily focused on the Zambezi River Valley in Zimbabwe and Zambia. A crucial part of this commitment was the establishment of the Bushlife Support Unit in 2015, a “boots-on-the-ground” team actively engaged in daily anti-poaching patrols utilising vehicles and boats. Recently, Bushlife Safaris have also been selected as one of the founding partners of the Utariri Programme that seeks to involve community into the stewardship of natural resources.
