Vundu Camp

Situated in the heart of Mana Pools National Park in a private concession is our little piece of paradise, Vundu Camp. It is a permanent tented camp situated underneath a shady forest of riverine trees on the banks of the mighty Zambezi River, giving guests beautiful sweeping views of the floodplains.

Accommodation

The wonderfully comfortable camp has a total of eight spacious thatched chalets, one of which is a family room. Each chalet opens out onto the banks of the mighty Zambezi River, located just 10 metres away. Guests can sit outside and relax on their terrace, watching impala, warthog and elephant meander by.

Dining & Facilitics

The main lounge and dining area is open-air and elevated, providing guests with picturesque views of the Zambezi River, making it the perfect place to unwind after a full day of activities.  There is a well-stocked bar and lounge area where you can share your safari stories with other guests, relax with a good book or enjoy a board game or two.

 

Bushlife Safaris serves excellent quality food and wine, in alfresco eating areas and at a communal meal table. Meals are adjusted to suit wildlife sightings and the personal preferences of guests.

  • Canoeing down the Zambezi River which is a wonderful way to experience game viewing from a different perspective,
  • Excellent fishing off the banks of the Zambezi River and on our pontoon boat,
  • Game viewing from the pontoon boat and sundowner cruises,
  • Bird watching both from camp and the surrounding areas.
